In the opening scenes of our short movie, we deliberately utilized natural lighting to showcase the beauty of the outdoor setting. By capturing the scene during the early hours of the day, we took advantage of the bright and clear lighting conditions. This choice allowed the audience to have a clear view of the surroundings and visually appreciate the natural elements present in the outdoor area.
The purpose behind emphasizing the outdoor environment was to create a contrast with the subsequent indoor scenes, where the main characters would be trapped. By juxtaposing the freedom and openness of the outdoor setting with the confined and restrictive indoor spaces, we aimed to highlight the stark contrast between the characters' potential and their current circumstances.
