Analysis of short films

 Mobius - (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rO9n4aOQi00)

There are four characters in this short movie. Compared to large films, short movies employ a very limited number of characters. This makes it easier for the viewer to concentrate on these people and better understand their motivations and behaviors. This movie likewise has a major character who is on screen for the entire five minutes. This makes it possible for the audience to comprehend who he is and what he is up to.

The genre is also a short film convention. There are western and action genres in "Mobius." Guns, automobile chases, a desert environment, and people wearing cowboy hats and boots can all allude to this. This makes it easier for the audience to comprehend the picture and helps them recognize its genres.

The utilization of abstract inventiveness in this piece is another convention. The short film has a highly original and ethereal plot and concepts. There are no other short films that have a plot like this one, making it incredibly unique. As a result, this movie might also be classified as a niche one.

In "Mobius," a twist—a short film convention—is utilized. The journalist who saw two guys kill another man in the movie ends up being the victim of the shooting, which is an unexpected turn in the plot. The movie implies that unless it is broken, this cycle will continue. The audience will be shocked since they did not anticipate the journalist's death.

Sound is one short film convention. There is frequently little to no conversation. There is very little sound and no conversation in the short film Money Box. As a result, the viewer will be better able to concentrate on the short film's images and decipher its story.

Another convention found in short films is the usage of characters. There is only one character, a young man, who is the centre of attention in "Money Box." This enables them to relate to him and comprehend his feelings as the events of the movie unfold.

The short film also uses the convention of A Twist. The money box has taken the whole man's money, as can be seen around 4:30 in the short movie. The audience will be surprised by this since it is unexpected. Since here is where the movie's climax occurs, it also alters the plot.

Another convention found in short films is the usage of characters. There is only one character, a young man, who is the centre of attention in "Money Box." This enables them to relate to him and comprehend his feelings as the events of the movie unfold.

Another short film convention is The Budget. Short films typically have relatively modest budgets. This movie's "money box" prop serves as the primary point of interest. Due of the public space around him and the likelihood that the film's makers already possess the other props, this one would be the most expensive for the scene (e.g. the mans jacket).

Buongiorno - Good Morning - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBj-_ljxoHo

Good Morning is a short movie, much like the other Short movies. A movie must have a running time of no more than 40 minutes in order to be categorised as a short.

The short video exaggerates character reactions and behaviours to make them comedic. The ghosts make goofy expressions and dance before the main character enters the room to make fun of him. The Ghosts tease the protagonist in an effort to anger and frustrate him while he attempts to catch them off guard in order to demonstrate that his mind isn't playing tricks on him. To the audience, this may look amusing.

The whole short film Good Morning is confined to one single room. It is reasonable to presume that Good Morning has a little budget because there aren't many other effects than those utilised for the mirror and the short is barely five minutes long.

Following a Todorov Structure is "Good Morning." The main character comes out of bed, washes his teeth, and all of a sudden, he notices movement in his mirror (Equilibrium). His mirror barks back at him, taking the audience off guard after they have been staring at him carefully for a while and doubting his sanity.

The scenario is out of the ordinary (Disruption) Now that he realises something is amiss, the main character returns to the mirror to make sure what he saw was indeed there and wasn't just a figment of his imagination (Recognition of Disruption) Every time he wakes up again, he tries to catch his reflections moving about in an effort to stop the disturbance, but eventually he gives up and just goes back to sleep.
